About Us

STEINWAY Piano Gallery is the exclusive Steinway and Sons dealer for the Tampa Bay area.  Our philosophy is simple:  We strive to provide the very best experience possible to the consumer looking to purchase a piano. Whether  you are looking for a new or used piano, our selection is the best. Serving the Tampa Bay area for over 25 years, we at the Music Gallery have a passion for delivering the best value in a quality piano, and an excellent reputation earned through years of fair and honest dealing.  Our 13,000 square foot showroom is the largest in the Tampa Bay area, but we maintain a small business mindset- every customer counts.  We know that buying a piano is often a long-realized dream- an investment for the future.  We pride ourselves on being personal, by listening to what our customers have to say, and using our expertise to find the perfect piano for any budget.  We feel honored to have a hand in bringing music to the family, and we take that responsibility seriously.   Our newly-remodeled 150 seat auditorium is available at no charge for recitals, master classes, repertoire practices, lessons, and musical events. Our facility has convenient parking for larger events and is centrally located between St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and Tampa.

Let us tell you a little more about who we are, and why we love what we do.

Charlie Hunt is a second-generation music merchant, and the son of a piano teacher.  He has a passion for the piano, and a desire to bring music into the home of every family in Tampa Bay. Charlie knows that everyone can play the piano and enjoy making music at any age.  Charlie has worked for years with the Greater Pinellas Music Teacher’s Association, The Florida Orchestra, as well as local churches and colleges.

Jonathan Hunt is a third-generation music merchant, and has grown up surrounded by all things musical.   Jonathan’s degree in marketing and skills with social media have helped The Music Gallery grow and adapt in the modern age.  Jonathan has been instrumental in forging new relationships with the music community and loves working with the St. Petersburg Opera, USF, and the Music Teacher’s Association, just to name a few.
